Spring is so close, I can practically smell it. Well, that's probably because I scored quite the deal on lovely flowers at Trader Joe's this weekend. I love that place! The best deal of the weekend? $1.49 for 10 daffodil stems.
For that kind of price, you can't even complain about the flowers' basic packaging - a rubber band. Definitely can't gift them in their current state (even though they're incredibly lovely!) So, what's a girl to do? Fancy them up! But how?!
-1-
COUNTRY CHIC
Gather stems in kraft paper, wrap with a vintage napkin and secure with a knotted ribbon
-2-
SIMPLE AND SLEEK
Gather a small bouquet in parchment paper, secure with coordinating ric rac and attach a fancy gift tag
-3-
GOLDEN GLAM
Make a set of gilded glass vases using recycled jars/bottles and gold leaf then split the bouquet into smaller bouquets for each vase.
-4-
RUSTIC TEXTURE
Wrap the base of the bouquet with an embroidered handkerchief and place inside of a burlap pouch
-5-
TOWNE & COUNTRY
Wrap bouquet in plain white butcher paper and finish with a silk ribbon and printed cardstock tag.
With Spring (St. Patty's Day, Easter, Mother's Day) right around the corner, you're sure to be gifting a ton of flowers. Each of these options took only a couple of extra minutes but your thoughtfulness will be well-received and appreciated.
Which is your favorite?

You are SO cute!! SO, what DID you end up doing w/ this lovely handful of Daffodils? I hope you kept them as after all this, which is WONDERFUL of you to do for us, you sure deserve them!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet, Chelle! I gifted a bunch to my absolute favorite neighbor though. Nothing like spreading a little sunshine :) I got a little selfish though and kept a few of these pretty little daffodils right on my bedside table, too.
DeleteLove each one! What a perfect giftie for Spring!
ReplyDeleteLovely ideas! I'm so glad that spring is finally here :-)
