It's been two months since we started using cloth diapers and I'm hooked. Having used disposables for the first few weeks (and for years before as a nanny), I can honestly say that I prefer cloth to sposies. The benefits surely outweigh the minimal inconvenience of extra laundry.
Sure it's only been a couple months but our diapers look and smell as good as new. I credit that to the awesome wash routine I'm sharing with you today.

Printable Thanksgiving Banner
I originally shared this material at Sumo's Sweet Stuff.
If you haven't guessed already, it's most definitely Christmasland here in the bloggy world. (Me included! I'm beyond ready for Christmastime - the tree is decorated, cards are ordered, our party is planned. The audacity!) Still, I realize that some of you actually enjoy going holiday by holiday. If you're hosting Thanksgiving dinner (I'm not! woot woot!) and need a last minute piece of decor, Spool and Spoon to the rescue! Here's a simple banner that you can DIY in only a couple of minutes.
With just three sheets of paper and a piece of yarn/twine/ribbon, you'll have a simple and festive decoration for your Turkey Day gathering.
What's better than a fun bunting? Not much if you ask me.

Family Rules Chalkboard Art - Free Print!
Hi ladies! Last month, I shared this Family Rules Print with the folks over at Sumo's Sweet Stuff. Summer is pretty fantastic in her own right, so hopefully you already follow her and saw this chalkboard goodness in September. If not, enjoy!
With the holidays right around the corner (yep, you heard me -- right.around.the.corner), imagine how precious of a gift this would be for the families from church, your favorite neighbors, or even your own extended family.

Home Sweet Home | Personalized Printable
So, it's been a whole month since my last post. I hope you missed me <3
My summer has been a whirlwind and I've stayed quite busy at the office. The Labor Day Weekend has been the perfect time to just fall back on the couch and relax with the Mr. and our furbabies.
Home. Sweet. Home. Home sweet home, indeed!
Sureee. I get it. You're like, "but Jess, my gorgeous family and home were not established in 2011 -- but thanks anyway." I made this print in keeping with the idea that you could and SHOULD personalize it for your own family.

Smooth Sea | Skillful Sailor - Printable
This summer is flying by and it's hard to believe that it's not over just yet. We're FINALLY enjoying some cooler temps (mid 80s!) and I'm really looking forward to the 60s-70s of Fall. Afterall, who doesn't love Autumn? Until then, I've been stuck with quite a conundrum. What kind of decor will fill the gap between stars and stripes and the autumnal harvest??
My vote goes to nautically inspired pieces. Going along with that line of thinking, I love a fab motivational print to tie it all together. This little lady will be right at home amidst your seafaring decor or even tucked within a gallery wall!

Printable Chevron Bookplates
I just realized that I never shared my last guest post from Sumo's Sweet Stuff. If you didn't have a chance to check out the Chevron Bookplate Printable when it was originally posted, here it is! Then again, if you're Anja from Cocalores, then you definitely already saw it and I love you for stopping by once more. Last month I posted some lunch notes for your little munchkins but these bookplates are all for you. Bookplates? How archaic! Well, not anymore. This pretty chevron variety is modern, preppy, and fun.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower Chalkboard Printables
I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I had seen The Perks of Being a Wallflower with the Mr. Let me just say that I super-duper-big-red-puffy-heart loved it. Back in high school, it was one of those books that spoke to me. Even as an adult, the movie just ever so perfectly resonated with me.
Whether or not you feel the need to pick up a copy of the book and read every. last. word., at least you'll get a dose of some of Stephen Chbosky's brilliance in two chalkboard art printables.

Love is in the Stars Tutorial
Yesterday I shared individual prints for each of the twelve astrological constellations and I hope you enjoyed them. While I'm sure they have a ton of random decor uses on their own, I created a sweet printable as an easy and personalized Valentine's Day gift for the Mr.
Sure, this could be done in my beloved PhotoShop but it can be created quite simply by any of the free programs out there. If you want to create your own but don't have fancy photo editing software, don't you worry. Below is a step-by-step tutorial to put yours together in practically no time at all.

Astrological Constellation Printables
Funny story behind this one. Well, maybe not so funny as it is one that shows how blonde I can be sometimes. The Mr. really has a thing for astronomy and by that, I mean he's a big ole nerd (haha). Yeah, well, this girl wanted to do something special for him and thought that I could make some a cute astronomical themed piece of art. I set out and created these little prints. Well... it turns out that astronomy is not at all the same thing as astrology... WHOOPS. Nevertheless, they turned out super cute so I'm happy to share them with you!

If All Else Fails, Coffee {printable}
Coffee lovers rejoice! I know it's not exactly healthy to have 20+ ounces per day, but I really can't help myself. Having a Keurig at home doesn't make resisting my cravings any easier. My day does not begin until I've filled my gigantic soup mug with 18oz of Breakfast Blend, two Splenda packets, and a healthy helping of French vanilla creamer. Throughout the day, I have anywhere between 1-3 more cups depending on my stress level. And then, the moment that I get home from work, I make a steaming cup of Starbuck's Veranda Blonde Roast because I'm exhausted and in need of a serious pick me up.
There is no way that I'm the only one like this... RIGHT?! I designed this simple little print for the rest of you coffee addicts out there.
Yep. If all else fails, coffee. Could it be any truer than that? This would be great in a breakfast nook, home office, or the kitchen. I painted the original with super strong leftover coffee and then added the text. I had painted another copy in its entirety, but accidentally smudged the A in "all" which was completely discouraging since it's not the easiest thing to paint text. Because of the white background, you can crop it into a variety of sizes once printed on one 8.5x11" sheet of paper.
This should go without saying, but this print is for PERSONAL USE ONLY and is not to be used for profit. Always be sure to give credit where credit is due. Thanks a bunch and enjoy!
